【析句】多重復合句，主句為In my own research complaints from womenfoucused not on tangible inequities……，such as此處用于舉例，as是介詞，其后跟動名詞，as后的賓語結構較長having given up the chance……to accompany……to his（相當于to his career）和doing far more than their share of ……，cleaning后又有舉例like cleaning cooking……。
3.In short the image that best represents the current crisis is the stereotypical cartoon scene of a man sitting at the breakfast table with a newspaper held up in front of his face while a woman glares at the back of it wanting to talk.（2010. 閱讀。 Text 2）
【譯文】簡而言之，能充分體現目前這種危機的`是一幅老套的卡通漫畫：一位男士一邊吃早餐，一邊埋頭看報紙，而妻子生氣地盯著報紙的背面，就想說話。
【析句】首先，復合句的主句為the image is the stereotypical cartoon scene，主句中，that best represents the current crisis作定語從句修飾image，cartoon scene of后是表語補足語，a man sitting at the breakfast動名詞結構，with a newspaper held up為伴隨狀語，最后是while引導的時間狀語從句。
