　　歷年考研英語作文有兩類，一個大作文一個小作文。其中的小作文，多是辭職信、道歉信、感謝信等應用文體，它的形式是給出提示要點，要求考生根據要求表達清楚要點。它的評分重點在于信息點的覆蓋，內容的組織，語言的準確性，格式及語域的恰當性。鑒于小作文不需要華麗的詞藻和吸引閱卷人眼球的文采，老師認為，只要掌握一定的方法技巧，在格式、語言和要點等方面下足功夫，拿到理想的分數還是不難，但是學生的書信寫作還存在諸多問題。

　　第一，格式上的錯誤。

　　書信的稱呼，正確的格式應該是Dear …,，而很多考生不用Dear，而且一般都是寫成Dear…:。另外，在考研英語寫作中不需要寫日期，最后書信的落款是Li Ming，而不是自己的姓名。考生不注意書信的格式，后果就是扣分嚴重。

　　第二，審題不認真，內容離題。

　　一直以來，在寫作之前我們都跟學生強調要審題，很多考生一直不注意這點，也有的認為書信沒有什么值得仔細審讀的。但是最后的后果就是，內容偏離題目要求。小作文要如何審題呢?首先要仔細閱讀題目所提供的情景，確定寫信人和收信人的關系即寫信人的身份，進而確定書信的口氣，這樣才能滿足大綱中對寫作語域的要求。另外，還需要注意情景發生的時間和背景，注意書信的時態。

　　1.格式：

　　稱呼：英語應用文稱呼有這樣的'特點，如果是不認識的人，一般稱呼為敬詞+尊稱。例如，Dear Sir or Madam 或者 To Whom It May Concern(需注意每個單詞首字母都大寫);如果是寫給關系正式的某團體或個人，稱呼為敬詞+尊稱+名。例如，Dear Mr. xx或Dear Ms. xx;;對于關系較親密的人可以直呼其名，即Dear xx。需要注意的是：1.稱呼要頂格寫;2. 稱呼之后要加逗號或者冒號(推薦大家用逗號，因為歷年的高分范文都是用逗號的)。

　　正文：正文格式一般有兩種格式，一是縮進式，即首段開頭空四個字母，段落之間不空行; 一是齊頭式，即每段開頭不空格，但是各段之間空一行。跨考考研老師建議考生采用縮進式，因為如果用齊頭式，段間空行的話很可能答題空間不夠，導致字數不夠。

　　2.語言：

　　寫作用詞準確是最基礎的要求之一。其次，句型可以多變，例如既有并列句，也有復合句，還有從句，但注意語法運用要正確。此外還要注意，正式語言一般是寫給具有正式關系的團體或機構，這種情況不用縮略語和口語用法。除了正式的文體以外，其他的文體皆為非正式文體，像寫給朋友的書信等。

　　一般小作文的考查要求中會體現出寫該篇的目的和場合，所以考生在寫作時要注意針對不同場合使用不同語言，使交流得以進行。另外，考生也要注意不同的應用文有不同的用語。建議考生對某些應用文的格式和習慣用語，應該加以熟悉和背誦，以便運用自如。

　　3.要點：

　　考生在考試時注意在看到題目要求后不要忙于動筆，雖說小作文的字數充其量在一百多個單詞，但是依舊要在腦子里理清思路。最好能夠在仔細審題以后，認真列個提綱，這樣更有利于思路清晰。寫作時，注意表達清楚以下幾個方面：首先交代清楚寫信目的;其次為了讓閱卷者對你的文章結構及表意一目了然，注意關聯詞或銜接詞的運用;接下來，應該對個人的觀點進行闡述(在寫作有此必要的時候)。最后，行文間要注意簡化描述，用簡短的語句代替冗長的語句。在作文完成的時候，應該檢查、修改，以免遺漏一些需要表達清楚的要點和細節。
