　　The fox borrows the tiger’s fierceness (by walking in the latter’scompany)——bully people by flaunting one’s powerful connections.

　　One day,a fox ran into a tiger,which was hunting in the forest.Facing thetiger’s big hungry mouth,the fox pretended to be surprised,and said,“How dareyou eat me?I’m much fiercer than you though you have the name of ‘King of thebeasts’!” “What are you talking about?” said the tiger who couldn’t believe hisears.“If you don’t believe me,let’s go and see other beasts’ reactions at thesight of us.” Full of misgivings,the tiger decided to follow the fox and seewhat he was up to.

　　A strange sight was taken place in the forest:the fox was proudly marchingin front and the ferocious tiger followed in a huff.Watching them,all the littlebeasts fled in a hurry.After a while,the fox stopped and asked the tiger,“Now doyou believe me?” The tiger,who was fooled by this trick,believed that the littlebeasts feared the fox instead of himself,therefore he let him go.

　　The tiger lost a delicious meal,while the Chinese gained an interestingidiom.

The most obvious factor is the language. English as the international language is accepted by the world and Chinese great works need to be translated into English, so as to be read by the judges. But the bad thing is that during the translation, the artistic conception has loss in some way and only the main meaning is left. So we don’t need to question about our literature, it is excellent and some day the world will see it.

　　In China, people usually have three meal a day, they are breakfast, lunch and supper.

　　People usually have breakfast from seven to nine in the morning. There are many kind of food for them to eat, such as nuddles, eggs, fried dough sticks and soy milk. They have lunch at about twelve at noon, usually have vegetables, meats and rice. They have a short rest after lunch. Supper is about at six in the evening. All the family eat together, they eat the same kind of food as the lunch. Some people like to have some fruits after the meal.

　　The Dragon Boat Festival is a lunar (陰歷)holiday, occurring (存正)on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month (農歷史五月第五天)

　　The Chinese Dragon Boat Festival is a significant (有意義的)holiday celebrated (慶祝)in China, and the one with the longest history (歷史最悠久). The Dragon Boat Festival is celebrated by boat races (龍舟賽) in the shape of dragons. Competing teams (競爭團隊) row their boats forward to a drumbeat (擊古)racing to reach the finish end first.

　　The boat races during the Dragon Boat Festival are traditional customs (傳統習俗)to attempts to (試圖)rescue (搭救) the patriotic poet (愛國詩人)Chu Yuan. Chu Yuan drowned (溺死) on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month in 277 B.C. Chinese citizens now throw bamboo leaves (竹葉) filled with cooked rice into the water. Therefore the fish could eat the rice rather than the hero poet. This later on turned into the custom of eating tzungtzu and rice dumplings(粽子).

　　The celebration's is a time for protection (防護) from evil (邪惡) and disease (疾病) for the rest of the year. It is done so by different practices such as hanging healthy herbs on the front door, drinking nutritious concoctions (營養品), and displaying (展示) portraits (畫像) of evil's nemesis(邪惡報應), Chung Kuei. If one manages to (成功做...) stand (直立)an egg on it's end at exactly 12:00 noon, the following year will be a lucky one.
