　　附：以下是一些經常在大學生求職信上出現的常見的毛病。有些看來雖然相當明顯，卻時常在一些學生的求職信上出現。這里提出來，希望學生朋友能夠明白，有所察覺，以防出錯。

　　過分自信

　　很多剛從學校畢業的同學，都會犯上一個毛病，就是以為只要考試成績好，便會是一個稱職的職員。其實，不少招聘單位曾再三指出，好職員必須既有良好的學習成績，亦有多方面的經驗和才干。所以，如果因自己在考試中得到數科優良成績便沾沾自喜，忽略經驗和性格條件，之會使招聘單位覺得他自高自大、思想不成熟。

　　不夠自信

　　謙虛雖然是美德，可是現代社會里過謙卻越來越不合時宜了。大學生應該在信里強調自己的長處，如果你不能避免要在信中提到你的缺點，則盡量輕輕帶過。 推理有問題 很多學生為了取悅招聘者，便再三強調自己的學業成績，保證自己會成為優秀的職員;另一些人則在信中三番四次地提到自己對這行業的興趣等等。以上的人都犯了一個重大的錯誤，就是以為只要有好成績或有濃厚興趣，或者有著滿腔熱誠便可以成為一個理想的職員，而不知其他方面的能力和經驗亦是很重要的。

　　語氣不莊重

　　招聘單位大都喜歡看事物比較客觀的申請人，所以要盡量避免在求職信上用"我覺得"、"我看"、"我想"等字眼來說明自己的觀點，也忌用"我非常希望"、"我真的喜歡"之類的強調語氣。

　　消極的工作態度

　　有些大學生在信中會寫上這類陳腔濫調："若貴公司要求受聘行政人員有能力作決定，并且忠心執行職務，則我自當……"。這樣會使人覺得你非常被動，做事無主見。現代社會講求創意與膽識，，求職信這樣寫是不會給人留下好印象的。

　　措辭不當

　　這方面的離子實在數不勝數，有些叫人捧腹大笑(招聘者又何不會覺得好笑呢)。 曾經有學生這樣寫："你知道有我這類應聘，勢必大喜過望。" 或者："我(她是女的)特別喜歡陌生人。" 再如："這職位對我來說簡直是無法抵擋的引誘。" 如果小心撰寫的話，這種種不妥當的修辭其實是完全可避免的。

　　過多簡寫詞語

　　可能你與朋友交談時習慣簡稱自己的學校或所修的學科，但在申請書上是絕不應該這樣寫的，如簡稱"?大"、" ?工"、"商院"等，這樣只會使人覺得你做事還是個學生氣，予人不良印象。
