姚明劉翔成為上海形象代言人

9月26日，象征著上海“高度”與“速度”的籃球明星姚明和110米欄奧運會冠軍劉翔成為第二任上海形象代言人，任期兩年。姚明自2003年6月抗擊非典后，開始擔任上海市第一任形象代言人。

China's NBA star Yao Ming and Olympic hurdles champion Liu Xiang were named Goodwill Ambassadors for Shanghai on Monday, getting promotional jobs to do outside of their own sports.

The two Shanghai-born sports stars will use their high profiles in the world to promote the city of Shanghai by attending various kinds of promotional activities in the following two years on condition that their sports duties would not be distracted.

It was Yao's second term as Shanghai's Goodwill Ambassador, a role he started to take after China was hit by the SARS virus in une 2003.
