Learning English is not an easy job. There have been several difficulties in my English study during the past years. Then I'd like to talk about my difficulties in English learning.
Words learning can be said to be the first difficulty I meet at the beginning. It's very hard for me to remember so many words. For example, I just back the words, but not soon I forget about it. Except that, I found that I often can't be Chinese and English on the number. However I found my own way to deal with them. Similarly grammar may be the second difficulty in my study. The rules of English grammar are too complicated for me to remember them. As a result, I can't solve many questions. The last but not the least, listening and speaking are also difficult to me. Because I often can't understand what other people say and also can't express myself to others. My English pronounce is so poor that I am afraid of saying English in public.

It goes without saying that English plays an important role in our modern society. English is an international language. Wherever you go, you can hear English spoken by many people. From this point of view, it is true that English is important to our daily life. Learning English is like learning to swim or learning to play ball. Our primary trouble is that we have tackled the study of language from the wrong end. We are like the man who thinks he can learn to swim only by reading books about swimming. Listening and speaking belong to spoken language, while reading and writing belong to written language. We need to use listening and reading. Absorb knowledge, understand it, digest, and use skillfully. These three steps should be common to most learning.
