　　《喜福會》給我們的啟示之一就是：在美國，所謂的多元文化，也就是亞文化與主流文化保持一致的新格局，從本質上來說不過是一場掩人耳目的把戲，是對亞文化的同化和心理侵略的掩蓋。那么，與其他少數民族的女性一樣，華裔女性只有重新找回原本的自我，打破文化的沉默和性別的沉默，按照自己的方式自尊、自信、自主地面對生活，才能最終進入“喜與福”的境界。
