　　論文題目：The Destiny of Sister Carrie-An Analysis of “New Female Image” in Sister Carrie(嘉莉妹妹的命運-淺析《嘉莉妹妹》中的新女性形象)

　　一、 選題動機、可行性分析、意義、重點和創新點：

　　1選題動機：對作者的作品比較感興趣，而且嘉莉妹妹比較貼近現實生活。在現今社會中有很多女性的生活與嘉莉很相近，可以引起共鳴。I am very interested in the author’s writing themes. And Sister Carrie relatively close to real life. In today's society there are many women in the life and Carrie very close, can resonate.

　　2可行性分析：

　　(1)選題意義：反映現今社會的諸多問題，以啟示人們樹立正確的人生觀和價值觀。<嘉莉妹妹>是西奧多德萊塞的杰出代表作,該小說勾勒了人類歷史發展進程中消費主義和自然主義所展示的一幅精彩畫面,真實地再現了20世紀初的美國大都市生活。Reflect the many problems of modern society, is a lesson people establish a correct outlook on life and values.

　　(2)選題重點：對嘉莉這個主要人物的性格以及影響她的外界環境因素的分析。The main characters of the character of Carrie and her impact on the analysis of environmental factors

　　(3)選題創新點：從側面反映現實生活From the side of the situation reflects real life

　　二、 本選題國內外研究現狀There are not so much articles which talk about the Sister Carrie

　　國內外研究此課題的文章并不多見, 在美國文學史上,嘉莉妹妹一直是頗具爭議的人物形象.

　　三、 畢業論文研究基礎及研究方法：

　　(1)研究基礎：I have read the novel before and I am very interested in the theme

　　the novel involves ,together with we learned the novel not long before. After

　　the teacher analysizes it for us carefully, I have a further understanding

　　to it.

　　我以前就讀過這本小說的中文版本，看完之后我對里面涉及的主題很感興趣。加上后來我們學習了這篇小說在老師的指導下對它有了更進一步的了解。

　　(2)研究方法：close-reading

　　仔細讀過原著并讀過作者相關的自傳，我是在認真細讀全文的基礎上寫這篇論文的。
