外企英文簡歷制作技巧
簡歷是求職的“敲門磚”。無論什么語言,好的簡歷都能夠大大增加成功的幾率,但英文簡歷與中文簡歷的寫法卻也有很多地方大不同。怎樣讓自己的英文簡歷使人眼前一亮?小編總結了3種強而有力的簡歷撰寫方法。
1)The best way is to show, not tell. If you just use adjective to describe yourself, it will definitely not convince others. Try to use facts and examples to show your skills.
最好的辦法是展示,而不是告知。僅用形容詞堆砌來描述自己如何優秀并不能使人信服,用例子和實際的過往經驗才能讓HR切實看到你的能力。
范例:Jim的個人簡歷并不是簡單地表達:"I am a hardworking person and good at working as part of a team." 而是用具體的例子使人信服:"I undertake additional work when my team requires. As a person who likes to communicate with others, I arranged the company's team building events."

2)Use Data. Instead of just telling how good you are, it's better to use data to demonstrate your personality and make HR recognize that you have good and related experience.
用數據說話,數據是真實而且最簡單直接的,它能明白地向HR展示出你的成就。
范例:為了展現他的銷售能力,Simon用數據來說明:"Iam results-oriented. As the top sales in the company last year, I achieved 120% of my sales target each month."

3)Learn to use S.T.A.R. technique to show your strong points. S.T.A.R. means Situation-Task-Action-Result. This format demonstrates how you could apply skills to an employer's workplace.
學會運用S.T.A.R.法則來展現你的優勢。S.T.A.R.法則能夠用來印證你的能力所勝任的職位。
范例:Helen在自己的完美簡歷中用S.T.A.R.法則以講故事的方式一目了然地展示出她的主要成就:"I had to develop some activities for a teambuilding event for my company, which 100 managers were due to attend. I surveyed participants to find out their interests and researched some popular games and challenges. In the end the event was a great success and I received praise from the managers who said they had a great time.”

In addition, be careful about the following points which shouldn’t be included in an English resume.
初此之外,在英文簡歷中還應該注意以下事項:
Don’t include photographs.
不要放入照片。
Don’t include personal information, like gender, marital status, race, religion, national insurance details etc.
不要涉及個人信息,如性別、婚姻狀況、種族、信仰、保險等。
Don’t talk about your real hobbies.
不要談到你真正的個人興趣,信息與所應聘職位相關即可。
