　　After a tiring school year, I’m eager to relax myself. I’m looking forward to spending my vacation with my grandparents, who live in the beautiful countryside. I will stay with them for about three weeks. Of course, I’m going to help them do some housework, such as cleaning the yard, walking the dog and so on. Perhaps we will take short trips as well. Besides, I am going to visit some of my old friends. I think we will have a happy time together. 　　雖然小姨的學歷比我高，但她會讀的英語卻只有可憐的一小撮。為了讓小姨也能跟上時代，有事沒事說兩句英語，我就給小姨當了一回臨時小老師，教她學英語。 “跟我讀，each，each。”我說。“each，什么意思？”“的意思。”小姨“哦”了一聲，低下頭在本子上記下幾筆。

　　“再多練幾遍，小姨！”小姨一邊看著本子一邊念：“each，each。”“唔，不錯。再來下一個。桃子，peach。”我大聲說。“peach，peach。”小姨跟著讀了兩遍，又在本子上寫了些什么。 我繼續教小姨，她讀得挺認真，但總是要在本子上寫一寫。我可不管這么多，只要她讀對就行了。最后，我要小姨把剛才學的單詞讀一遍，她照著那個小本子，一個一個地念，居然全讀對了。

　　我興奮得一蹦三尺高，這個小老師當得真不錯！ 吃過晚飯，小姨洗衣服去了，我偷偷拿起小姨的本子，想看看她到底寫了什么。真是不看不知道，一看嚇一跳――each一尺，桃子僻起…… 我又好氣又好笑地對小姨說：“要你學英語，不是漢字！給單詞注上漢字怎么能學好呢？”小姨有點理虧地說：“可我光看單詞不會讀呀！”我只好又不厭其煩地教小姨認音標讀單詞。 也怪，小姨的.單詞越學越好，“胃口”也大了。于是，我又開始教小姨英語句子。

　　有時候，小姨學著學著就會嘮叨幾句：“這外國人說話真麻煩，亂七八糟，連順序都沒有！”不過說白了，媽媽學習的勁頭足足的，很快在我的指導下掌握了一些英語句子。漸漸地，小姨會說了很多的英語句子和單詞，我開心極了。
