　　我國的傳統節日形式多樣，內容豐富，是我們中華民族悠久的歷史文化的一個組成部分。

　　節日的起源和發展是一個逐漸形成，潛移默化地完善，慢慢滲入到社會生活的過程。它和社會的發展一樣，是人類社會發展到一定階段的產物。我國古代的節日，大多和天文、歷法、數學，以及后來劃分出的節氣有關，這從文獻上至少可以追溯到《夏小正》、《尚書》，到戰國時期，一年中劃分的二十四個節氣，已基本齊備，后來的傳統節日，全都和這些節氣密切相關。
