that賓語從句需用(should)+動詞原形表示虛擬的動詞；

advise, recommend, propose, suggest, insist, command, mandate, direct, order, ask, demand, request, require, insist, maintain, move, refer, desire, urge, vote

that不可以省略；should可以省略；

以上動詞的同詞根名詞在that同位語從句和表語從句需用(should)+動詞原形，如： insistence, reference, recommendation, suggestion, proposal, motion, desire, requirement, request, order, necessity, regulation, rule, resolution, understanding

以上動詞的同詞根形容詞及分詞在that主語從句需用(should)+動詞原形，如： advisable, desirable, insistent, referable, urgent, appropriate, compulsory, crucial, essential, imperative, important, natural, necessary, obligatory, possible, probable, proper, strange, vital, advised, arranged, commanded, demanded, desired, ordered, proposed, recommended, requested, required, suggested

舉例：insist的用法

1. 表示“堅持說；堅決認為(多與別人的觀點不同)”，接that從句(從句的動作為已發(fā)生之事)，從句使用陳述語氣。

(1)She insisted that he was wrong. 她堅持認為他錯了

(2)He insisted that he had done right. 他堅決認為自己做對了

2. 表示“堅決主張；堅持要求”，接that從句(從句的動作為將要發(fā)生之事)，謂語多為 should型的虛擬語氣，即：主語+ should(可省略)+動詞原形。如： He insisted that we (should) accept these gifts. 他一定要我們收下這些禮物。 Jane insisted that he be present. 簡堅持要他出席。

區(qū)別主要還是在于"insist"在句中所表達的意思。
