　　1)表示舉例

　　表示舉例的過(guò)渡詞在考研寫(xiě)作中是最常見(jiàn)的。這類(lèi)過(guò)渡詞經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)在考生寫(xiě)出自己的觀(guān)點(diǎn)后，用舉例例證自己的觀(guān)點(diǎn)。

　　for example; for instance; as a case in point; in the case of ;as an illustration; such as; like; that is; say ; as a matter of fact

　　As a matter of fact, throughout history people of many different cultures have regarded love as the most sublime of human emotions.

　　For instance when someone is starving to death, just a little food and water from you may save his life.

　　2) 表示比較和對(duì)照

　　表示比較和對(duì)照的過(guò)渡詞經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)在寫(xiě)作的第一段。考生在表達(dá)自己的觀(guān)點(diǎn)的時(shí)候，有時(shí)會(huì)先提一下對(duì)立的觀(guān)點(diǎn)，然后再提出自己的觀(guān)點(diǎn);有時(shí)候是用于兩種事物或情況的對(duì)比。這類(lèi)過(guò)渡詞包括：

　　表示結(jié)果的過(guò)渡詞基本出現(xiàn)在文章的最后一段。這類(lèi)過(guò)渡詞包括：

　　in conclusion; in short; on the whole; finally; lastly; to sum up; to conclude; in any event

　　To sum up, one’s view on his success determines his future.

　　On the whole, I believe we young people should face the difficulties in right manner. And nothing is impossible, just do it.
