Right now I am talking about fighting forrespect to our environment.Though the environment doesn't have a mouth todeprecate what humans have done to her, she retaliates through action. In theearly years the Chinese cut down large quantities of trees, at the source of theyellow river, which led to the disappearance of big forests and terrible floods.As a result, the Huangtu plateau which was once covered with grass and forestswas turned into barrens that supported fewer plants. Another example was inseveral developed countries. Because many chemical factories dischargedpoisonous gas without filtering it, cities were covered with so much poisonousgas that people were killed by the air they breathed in. What horriblescene!What we are suffering is only a small part of what the nature oncesuffered. If we don't take action to show respect to the environment, we willhave to face an increasingly awful situation.

　　Measures should be taken to protect the environment on which we arerelying. First governments should forbid destroying vegetation, rivers andlakes, oceans, as and the atmosphere as well. Second voices should be made toannounce the public of the importance of protecting the environment. Thirdenterprises should pay special attention to the effect they have on theenvironment and work out solutions for the problems.

　　In recent years there has been a marked growth of fire accidents in bigcities of our country. Almost every day we see fire engines rushing through thestreets. Fires have not only resulted in heavy economic losses but also injuredand killed many people.

　　What are the causes of fire accidents? Most of the fires are brought aboutby carelessness and violation of fire safety regulations. Others are due to thepoor quality of home electrical appliances. By the way, some people don't knowhow to use them properly. Besides,there are quite a few businesses which focusso much of their attention on profits that they tend to neglect and even ignorefire precautions.

　　In my opinion, in order to prevent fires we should first of all fosterpeople's sense of fire prevention. The second thing we have to do is to increasethe number of professional fire fighters, to whom regular training coursesshould be offered. Finally, we are to improve the existing fire engines and addmore fire facilities to high-rise buildings. In this way, a reliable fireprevention system will be formed.

　　自從前段時間我看了《魯濱遜漂流記》這本書后，我覺得真是令我受益匪淺。

　　它主要講了魯濱遜十分喜愛歷險。他在一次航海中，因遇到臺風把所乘的船打翻了，而僥幸流落荒島的他，靠著智慧和勇氣生存下來的長達二十八的的歷險故事……

　　記得今年暑假，我參加了“小紅軍”夏令營活動。當我們徒步登大奇山時，我興高采烈地跟著隊伍前行。走了沒多久，平坦的山路一下子無影無蹤，取而代之的是崎嶇的懸崖峭壁。我看著很害怕，心里像懷著一只小鹿一樣上竄下跳。一直想打退堂鼓，但當我想到魯濱遜獨自一人生存荒島多年時，又覺得這算不了什么。對魯濱遜來說，這簡直就是張飛吃豆芽——小菜一碟。我還是努力鼓足勇氣，跟著隊伍邁開了步伐。

　　但看著眼前那窄小又搖搖晃晃的獨木橋，又看看橋底那湍急的河流，不覺得驚出了一身冷汗。我又想到了放棄這個詞。但《魯濱遜漂流記》像一盞明亮的燈，指引著我，讓我勇敢地向前走。于是，我猛吸一口氣，兩手緊緊地握住了繩索，硬著頭皮，小心翼翼地挪動雙腳緩緩向前進，生怕一不小心掉進了水里。雖然過橋時我打了好幾個寒戰，雞皮疙瘩掉了一地，但當我走完橋面回頭看時，除了興奮，更是滿足，懸著的心終于也落了下來。

　　不知爬了多久，終于，我們來到了山頂。看著風景如畫的`大奇山腳下，我心里的成就感真是無法形容。途中的熱啊、累啊、苦啊，都拋到了九霄云外，我們都沉浸在了歡樂的笑聲中……

　　這次爬大奇山的經歷讓我記憶猶新，從當初害怕的想要放棄，到攀登高峰、眺望風景，戰勝了自我。這是魯濱遜的精神鼓舞著我，他真是個無聲的啟蒙老師，不僅把我變成了勇敢的人，而且還告訴了我成功的秘訣。
