對以下幾個方面要多加注意，適當練習幾遍
1、見面問候語：Good morning / afternoon, dear profeors.I am XXX.(Nice to meet you。)。告別用語：Thanks for your time./ Thank you for giving such a chance.I hope to see you again and soon。
2、自我介紹篇(重點)。基本上每個院校每個專業的口試中都會涉及這一方面。考官其實是要借此了解你的口頭表達能力以及你的報名表之外的一些信息。自我介紹時間以2-3分鐘為宜。思路要清楚，要突出重點，口語盡量流利(不要太流利了，有背誦之嫌)。
1)考官要求你作自我介紹時，不要用let me introduce myself briefly / please allow me to introduce myself to you等句子，重復、啰嗦。開頭可以只用一句話引入：Dear profeors, I feel so glad to meet all of you here。然后就可以進入主題，介紹姓名、年齡等等。
2)自我介紹的主體內容
①姓名。介紹自己姓名時，發音一定要準(南方考生要多加注意)。
②年齡。年齡可以跟在姓名后帶過(I am XXX, 25 years old)。
③原來的院校、專業。注意：一定要把原來學校的`英文名稱、專業的英文名稱弄清楚(尤其是跨校、跨專業的學生)。
所屬的公司、職位。注意：在職考生則應將自己公司、自己職位/職稱的英文名稱弄明白。
④性格、能力。可以著重強調你的個性對你報考的專業有何積極的作用。如果報考的是學術性的專業，可以說自己細心(carefully，detail-oriented)、條理分明(logical)、踏實(steady)等；如果是研究性、應用性更強一點的專業，可以說自己負責(responsible)、可靠(dependable)、有效率(efficient)等。
其他的一些表示性格、能力的形容詞有：active, aggreive(有進取心的)，adaptable, amicable(友好的)，analytical(善于分析的)，cooperative, creative, disciplined, dutiful, energetic, faithful, gentle, independent(有主見的)，innovative, motivated, modest, objective, precise, punctual, precise(一絲不茍的)，temperate等等。
在職考生或有過工作經驗的考生還可以強調一下你的工作成績，如：As the aistant to the General Manger of XXX Company, I have helped to negotiate a $200,000 deal for the corporation。
⑤愛好。All work and no play make Jack a dull boy.除了強調你的學習的重視，同時也要避免給考官一種“書呆子”的感覺。一般可以從體育、音樂、電影等方面來說，同時要簡單說明這些愛好對你的積極意義(build my body, relax myself, open my mind)；注意避免提到那些可能引起考官反感的愛好，如：playing computer games，watching TV等。
⑥你對報考的專業有興趣(be interested in/be fascinated with/be obseed with)，可適當舉出一些例子，如經常看相關的書籍、論文、文章、新聞等。在職考生可以強調知識教育對工作的影響：In my work, I find it neceary to broaden my horizons in communication.That’s why I long for entering your prestigious university。
3)結束時可以用說：That’s all about me./ Well, that’s who I am.Thanks for your attention。
3、關于自己家庭、家鄉、原來的學校的一些情況，尤其要注意原來學校的英文名稱。
1)家庭。需要注意的是，考官并不是為了做人口調查而提出這個問題的，所以應該避免流水賬似地介紹家庭成員；要盡量說明家人(尤其是父母)對你造成哪些方面(性格、職業規劃、做事風格等)良好的影響。可以參考以下句式結構：Just like my father, I am especially interested in history./ Though my father is an ordinary worker, his responsible attitude towards work has a great influence on me。
2)家鄉。正所謂“一方水土養育一方人”，考官實際上是想從你對家鄉的介紹中找出有關你性格、志向的線索。可以從歷史、歷史人物、著名景點、獨特風俗或特產等方面來簡單介紹，注意要表達熱愛家鄉的情感。
3)學校。如果是本校考生的話，在自我介紹中就可以點到(拉近跟考官的關系)。如果是外校，考官通常會問：Why did you choose our university?那么我們就可以說說它與報考院校之間的異同，然后說明為什么你選擇這個學校(I do love the atmosphere in your university.It is full of youthful spirits。)；要注意的是：一定要說明你對在原來的院校接受教育心存感激之情appreciation(從好的方面說一說)，著重強調希望能被錄取，表達自己堅定的決心、展望一下未來。
4、未來規劃——學習規劃(研究生以后的方向)，人生規劃(短期、長期)
5、意外情況——沒聽清，你應該怎樣要求老師再說一遍(Pardon?/ Sorry, I can’t follow you./ Sorry, I lost you.Can you repeat that question again?)；需要時間思考、整理思路的時候，不要出現沉默，可以用一些hmm, err, well等語氣詞；不會回答某些問題時，千萬不要不懂裝懂，可以明確地告訴老師你不知道(Sorry, but I have no idea about it。)。
6、跨專業問題——老師通常會對跨專業的學生問這樣一個問題：為什么會選擇這個專業？不要前篇1律地回答只說“我對這個專業感興趣”，可以把每個人都會談到的原因簡要地羅列一下，對具有自己特色的原因則可大談特談，詳細地闡述自己的觀點，讓老師印象深刻。
7、專業知識——在英語口試中(非英語專業)，如果老師提問專業問題，通常不會指望你能進行流利的、專業性強的闡述；但是一些專業術語的英文說法還是有必要了解一下的。
8、提出問題——在面試快結束的時候，一般老師都會問，你有沒有什么要問的(Do you have any questions to ask?)。一般不適合說“I don’t have any question。”可以問考官一兩個你關心的問題。

第四，表達自己的考研期望。考生們要注意，在復試場合進行自我介紹時也不要自己是要得到資格這一目的，因此要適當表達自己的期望。
第五，至此，自我介紹完成，要有個結尾句，告訴考官自己的話說完了，并且要表達感謝，比如可以說“So that is all, thank you for your attention!”。

最后，我想談一下，我考研的原因和研究的方向，我喜歡做設計，當看著自己的創意和產品得到別人認可的時候是一件無比興奮的事情;還有就是兩年的工作經驗讓我認識到我專業知識的局限，感覺在設計方面還有很多東西要學，自己的知識和能力還遠遠不夠，特別是在經濟快速發展的今天，更需要通過系統的復習來提高自己的能力，來最大化地實現自我價值，想通過3年的學習來對工業設計有個更加深入的了解，我很喜歡學校的感覺和體現出來的學習氛圍，到處充滿著青春活力，有很多的機會讓你去實踐和嘗試，讓人可以深入思考和進行學術的研究。如果我有機會在這所學校學習，我計劃把自己的研究方向定為工業設計，因為我發現設計在社會的發展中發揮了越來越重要的作用，特別在國家由制造業大國轉變為創新型國家的時候更是如此，雖然現在中國整個社會對設計的認可還不是很高，特別是在一些中小型企業中，但是縱觀一些發達國家的發展過程，不難發現，工業設計將會在社會發展起到不可替代的作用。
